Thermoplast XR432 is the layer beneath the envelope: a polystyrene-free thermal plaster that insulates the building against heat and cold from the construction stage, instead of a layer added at the end. The PELES thermal plaster system holds Standard Mark permits from the Standards Institution of Israel under Israeli Standard 1414, part 1 for external and part 2 for internal insulation. Its design thermal conductivity, set by SII testing to Israeli Standard 5450, is 0.0694 W/m·K, and PELES thermal plaster is classified A1 for reaction to fire under Israeli Standard 755: it is non-combustible. Apply by hand or by plastering machine on interior and exterior walls, as the base for Thermocryl Primer, coating and paint. Supplied in bags of about 12.5 kg, for new construction and for upgrading the envelope in renovation.
