Thermocryl Primer

The first layer of the system

Insulation starts before the first coat.

Thermocryl Primer is the first layer of the Thermocryl system: a water-based thermal bonding primer with a gel of low thermal conductivity. It penetrates the substrate and lets the coating and paint above it grip, so the envelope works as a single layer and insulation starts before the coat you see. Apply it on rough plaster or concrete before Thermocryl Coat and flexible acrylic, as a primer on walls painted with acrylic paint before flexible or other acrylic paints, and as a primer for mineral coatings. Coverage is 35 to 40 m² per litre, so a 16 litre pail covers a large area. The first step before any Thermocryl envelope product.
