Thermocryl Rooftop is the Thermocryl system's first line against the sun: a thermal roof coating applied over bituminous membranes that combines better insulation, by reducing the solar radiation the roof absorbs, with better waterproofing, thanks to polyurethane and silicone additives. Fibres in the coating form a reinforcement that gives it higher strength. According to the manufacturer's specification, it helps reduce the heat reaching the bituminous membranes by up to 70 °C, once blisters and tears in the membranes have been repaired. Apply by airless spray, roller or brush: a first coat diluted with one third water as a primer, and a second coat almost undiluted. Coverage about 10 m² per 20 kg pail in two coats, in colours from the RAL fan. Do not apply when rain is expected within 72 hours before or after.
